Frequently Asked Questions
Most families book for an average of 3-4 months.
3 -4 nights/week is the average. Some families book 5 – 7 nights a week. If it is a 7-night contract, we usually split it between 2 different night nannies.
All our night nannies come from a background of either: postpartum doula, midwifery, or newborn care specialist. Some have dual training in either of these fields. They are all carefully hand-picked, fully vetted, and are required to continue their newborn training each year.
Definitely! Our night nannies can bring the baby to you, or you can pop into the nursery when it’s time to feed. Once your baby is fed, the night nanny will burp, swaddle, and get your baby back to sleep again.
The night nanny will be with your baby all night – either in the nursery, or wherever you have the baby set up on the nights they are there.
That decision rests entirely on you! All our night nannies arrive at the job fully rested and ready to stay up all night. However, some families have beds in the nursery or a couch and are comfortable with the night nanny sleeping when the baby sleeps. It all depends on what your family feels comfortable with.
Yes, you can. If your current night nanny is not booked with another family and they are available, you can extend with them. If their availability is limited, we can find another night nanny for the contract extension.
